Comprehensive Emergency Response Drill Held at the Yermensai Substation

A comprehensive emergency response drill was held at the Yermensai substation of Alatau Zharyk Company JSC with the participation of mobile operational teams and emergency response units.

The main purpose of the event was to practice personnel readiness for actions in the event of an emergency situation, as well as coordination among the involved services.

During the drill, the actions of operational personnel in the event of emergency equipment shutdowns, cooperation with firefighting and emergency rescue units, worker safety measures, and the organization of restoration works were tested.

The drill was observed by representatives of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, Samruk-Energy JSC, and the territorial department of the Committee for Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control for the city of Almaty.

Based on the results of the drill, the readiness of specialists and rapid response services for non-standard situations was confirmed, as well as the effectiveness of coordination mechanisms in eliminating possible technological disruptions.
