Family Occupational Safety Day Held at Distribution Zone No. 4 of Alatau Zharyk Company JSC

As part of the Family Occupational Safety Day, an introductory tour was organized for the children of employees at Distribution Zone No. 4 of Alatau Zharyk Company JSC.

The main purpose of the event was to promote a culture of safe handling of electrical energy among the younger generation, as well as to introduce children to the activities of the energy sector and the profession of an energy specialist.

During the tour, the children visited the administrative building of Distribution Zone No. 4, the pre-shift medical examination room, and the office of the occupational safety inspector, where they learned about measures aimed at ensuring employee safety. Company specialists spoke about personal protective equipment and the basic requirements of occupational safety.

The participants were also shown the diagram of the power distribution area. The children learned about the operation of overhead and cable power lines, transformer substations, and the process of transmitting electrical energy to consumers.

At the end of the tour, the children were shown educational material on electrical safety, followed by a summary of the event, a question-and-answer session, and a group photo.

Such events help improve the culture of safety, expand children’s knowledge of the electric power industry, and strengthen continuity between generations in the sector.
