Alatau Zharyk Company JSC, being one of the largest electric power companies in Kazakhstan, recognizes the importance of its impact on the economy, the environment and society. We are guided by the principles of sustainable development and apply a balanced and rational approach when interacting with stakeholders.
The concept of sustainable development is to achieve the strategic goals of the organization without compromising its long-term sustainability, while taking into account the interests of stakeholders.
The principles of sustainable development include respect for the interests of stakeholders, observance of human rights, openness, accountability, transparency, legality, ethical conduct, personal example, zero tolerance for corruption, prevention of conflicts of interest, prevention of sexual harassment, and others. A more detailed description of these principles is provided in the Company's Corporate Governance Code.

In order to involve the employees of Alatau Zharyk Company JSC in occupational health and safety matters, as well as to assess the level of Safety Culture, the Reliability Control and Occupational Safety Department conducts anonymous online occupational health and safety surveys on a quarterly basis.
We kindly ask each of you to participate in these surveys. Together, we can improve occupational safety, reduce the risk of injuries and occupational diseases, and prevent workplace accidents.
