The public version of the Development Strategy of Samruk-Energy JSC for 2024–2033 was approved by the decision of the Board of Directors of Samruk-Energy JSC dated 19 July 2024 (Minutes No. 09/24).

The mission of Samruk-Energy JSC is to ensure the country's energy security and contribute to an accelerated energy transition while adhering to the principles of sustainable development and efficient resource management.

The Company's vision is to become a highly efficient and innovative leader in the electric power industry, creating a favourable ecosystem for all stakeholders based on reliable partnership and care for people and the environment.

The Strategy covers four strategic areas:

• Energy security — meeting the economy's growing demand for electric capacity and electricity;
• Efficiency — improving the efficiency of operational, financial and investment activities;
• Energy transition — accelerating the development of renewable energy and reducing adverse environmental impacts;
• Sustainable development — following ESG best practices.
