Local Trade Union "Seriktes"
A trade union is a public association with fixed membership, voluntarily created based on the
common labor, production, and professional interests of the citizens of the Republic of
Kazakhstan for the representation and protection of the labor and socio-economic rights and
interests of its members.
The trade union "Seriktes" operates in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of
Kazakhstan, the Labor Code, the law "On Trade Unions," the Charter of "AZhK" JSC, ...
The main legal document regulating labor relations in "Alatau Zharyk Company" JSC is the
collective agreement between the administration of "Alatau Zharyk Company" JSC and the labor
collective, represented by the chairman of the trade union.
The trade union "Seriktes" has more than 3,500 members, which constitutes about 91% of the
total number of employees of "Alatau Zharyk Company" JSC.
The structure of the trade union is close to the economic entity and implements work in three
directions: regional (district of electric networks), city (district of electric networks), central
management and services. In these units, there are workshop trade union organizations headed
by chairmen of workshop committees, who work in the following sectors: organizational-
financial, cultural-mass, sports, resolution of labor disputes and complaints. Technical inspectors
for labor protection have been elected in all structural subdivisions. All these activities are
coordinated by the Trade Union Executive Committee.
The trade union provides its members with comprehensive assistance, both material and legal
(consultative) within its competence. In addition, representatives of the executive committee
participate in field commissions considering industrial accidents, are included in the conciliation
commission in case of disputed situations, participate in the work of the certification
commission, the Production Council, and the Tariff and Qualification Commission.

Primary Veterans Organization
The Primary Veterans Organization (PVO) of "AZhC" JSC was established on April 17, 2019, at
the founding meeting chaired by Mukhit Abikeevich Umbetov - Chairman of the Board of the
"AZhC" JSC.
The PVO operates in accordance with the Regulation on the Primary Veterans Organization.
The governing body of the PVO is the Council of Veterans consisting of 7 members: B.T.
Abdigulov, B.O. Akkuliyev, L.A. Zharzhanova, G.V. Kim, M.E. Kubegenov, J.G. Kuzhaliyev,
A.A. Fedorov.
At an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Veterans, Madiyar Eraliyevich Kubegenov was
elected Chairman of the Primary Veterans Organization, and L.A. Zharzhanova was elected
Secretary.
The goals and objectives of the PVO are defined by the Regulation on the Primary Veterans
Organization:
• Ensuring a dignified social and domestic status for veterans, their participation in public
life, protection of the rights and freedoms of veterans (pensioners);
• Improving the material and housing conditions, cultural, household, medical, and other
services for veterans;
• Involving veterans in educational work with youth in educational institutions, collectives,
based on the traditions of combat and labor glory of the older generations, the best
national traditions of our ancestors. Cultivating a sense of Kazakhstani patriotism among
young people;
• Perpetuating the memory of defenders of the Motherland by creating and preserving
museums, monuments, and memorials;
• Participating in efforts to strengthen interethnic and interfaith harmony, stability in
society.

Youth Organization
The youth organization "Alataý Jastary" was formed in 2019 within the framework of the "Year
of Youth".
The youth organization "Alataý Jastary" is a voluntary association of young people under the age
of 35, interested in representing and defending their interests in front of stakeholders of «Alatau
Zharyk Company " JSC.
The objectives of the youth organization "Alataý Jastary" are as follows:
Promoting and supporting initiatives aimed at the professional, spiritual, physical, and
moral development of organization members, young employees of the company.
Contributing to the continuity of generations, strengthening the company's prestige.
Participating in addressing social and household problems of youth, young and low-
income families.
Organizing work to improve the professional skills of youth, enhancing the prestige of
the profession.
Developing and implementing various programs aimed at meeting the cultural, leisure
needs of organization members and young employees of the enterprise, including a wide
range of events.
Providing information and explanatory work on the company's activities.
Participating in the development and implementation of company youth programs.
